Enzymes for Medical Treatment

Enzymes used for medical treatment

For centuries, humans have been using certain plants for healing without knowing that their effectiveness is largely due to the plant’s enzyme content.  The use of enzymes for healing can be traced all the way back to the 8th century BC, when the prophet Isaiah was said to have healed an ulcer with fresh fig paste.

In the beginning of the twentieth century, scientists and physicians started to research systemic enzyme therapy.
